Maya's 1st Primary Program

Her 1st Primary Program was this morning. She said, "Heavenly Father has a plan of happiness." She behaved so well and sang beautifully. I was very proud of her.

KCF 2014

Phillip took the day off yesterday so we could go to the fair as a family. It was a real treat :) I really enjoy it when we get to do things with him. He has two more weeks of crazy, then we will have him home a little bit more. He will have to study for his state exam, so he will be reviewing his textbooks, lectures and tests. But it is more than okay, we can make it. Anyway, enough of that, this is a KCF post. We had lots fun. The girls rode a few rides (they are so ridiculously expensive) and also rode the ponies. We saw the coolest bird show, that if this will allow me I will try to upload a video or two. We also saw a dog show, turkey races, pig races and listened to a free concert. The kids and Phillip had yummy food that smelled so good. I was going to get grilled corn up until I saw how much it cost, it was $4.00!!! I was glad I packed some snacks for me. I guess the highlight was that Maya was tall enough to ride the Ferris Wheel. She loved it, while Phillip thought it was just a little scary :0) How can I forget? We also were able to pet a little newborn calf. I could have stayed there for a long while, but there were more animals to see and pet. The day went by fast and it was time to head home. We got home late and the kids were super tired, but we enjoyed it and it was well worth it. Until next time KCF.

Well, here are lots of pictures:

Spa Night with Achievement Day Girls

We had a spa night for our moms a couple of days ago. I only have 5 girls and 1 of them wasn't able to make it. I invited Scarlett, the grandma of our ward to come and join us. The girls did their moms nails and gave them facials.Maya and I did Scarlett's nails and face too. I had a lot of fun putting this together for them. The girls loved pampering their moms and I think their moms had a good time. Next is a father-daughter activity

The Celebration Continues...

After I came back from my morning run, the girls woke up and we tagged Phillip's car.

After tagging the car we had breakfast and got ready for preschool. I dropped Maya off at preschool, we did some shopping including the balloons, went back home to get some things ready for a mother-daughter activity tonight, then we picked up Maya from preschool and drove to Phillip's work. We surprised him with balloons, an old fashioned doughnut and a small box of skittles.
