Utah continued

I think I am safe to say that this was Phillip's favorite activity during our entire visit. Phillip loves horses, he honors his name. It is nearly impossible for us to have acreage in California because it is very expensive, but Phillip belongs in a place like this. Maybe someday we can find a little place out in the country where there is peace and quiet, where the children can run around in our own back yard and explore. Until we find that place we will enjoy doing things like this. I guess we will have to visit Moe and Angela more often. Phillip was not the only one who enjoyed the horses, all the kids were in heaven too. Our girls had huge smiles, and Addi cried until it was her turn to ride the horse. As soon as she sat on the horse she was a happy girl.

Like I mentioned earlier we visited grandma twice. This was our last visit. We all had a good time visiting with her.
We had a great time vising Moe and Angela. I am excited to see them again in the summer. Spending time with family is the best. Thank you Moe and Angela for your hospitality and for all the memories! Love you guys :)

Our Time in Utah

We spent an amazing week in Utah visiting family. Our time there was great. I loved the opportunity we had to reconnect with Moe and Angela. The boys did boy stuff and us girls took a day to do some canning. Canning was a first for me, but I had a great teacher and I have already ordered my own canning stuff. I am so excited to start canning and building our food storage. The main and most important reason why we traveled 12+ was to meet Moe and Angela's little new addition, Dante and to be a part of his blessing. The blessing was beautiful and  I was able to feel the spirit as I listened to the words Moe spoke. We had delicious food every single day... those guys can cook. I was also so very lucky to go on a few runs out in the beautiful country. My runs in Bakersfield will never be the same, no red foxes, no horses, no cows, no green everywhere and even no flies. My running partners also made the difference. Angela, Kenya and Naomi were so fun to run with. The kids and Phillip rode horses one evening, they had so much fun. Our girls belong in the country, they were so happy out there. They had fun feeding the cows some grass, feeding bunnies and jumping on the trampoline. We also went to a small zoo and fed some ducks. We picked up some pictures of Jesus Christ for the kids' bedrooms and are already up the wall, they look perfect and it makes their room feel complete. We watched movies when the kids went to bed and had a good laugh watching Parental Guidance.
We also visited grandma Betty on our way to Moe's and back. We had a very pleasant time chatting with her and the girls got way to much candy from her :)

The turkeys were made by Angela's mother. They were so cute!

Moe and Phillip took the girls on a field-trip with Naomi. Maya was disappointed she didn't see any animals, but still ha a good time.

Maya didn't like the sun on her face thus this cry baby face.

I love Lincoln's cute, chubby face in this picture.
Moe and Phillip are funny together, here is their Mexican, serious picture.

To be continued....
