3 Year Anniversary

Yesterday Phillip and I "celebrated"(I went back to school yesterday, so we really couldn't do much) our 3 year anniversary. I wanted to do something for Phillip, so last night I baked some "Lemon Love Notes" and made some coupons for him to redeem whenever he wants to. I gave him 12 coupons that include me taking out the trash, feeding chip for a week, foot massage, favorite dinner, and some other good ones. I wanted to do something that involved serving him, to show him how much I love him. I am so happy to be his wife, my life is great because of him.
We will probably celebrate our anniversary Saturday but, we'll see. We have a really busy schedule(running, feeding missionaries, taking friend to the airport, buying school books and finishing sharing time lesson).
We decided that for our anniversary we would have pictures taken of us by Julie Mulkay, she is awesome! I am so excited to have them done!

This was Phillip's little surprise :D
LOVE YOU HONEY!!!

1 year photo session

This morning we had Maya's pictures taken by Julie Mulkay. I was really excited for her to wear the white dress and the cute little outfit we got for her.Unfortunately the first half of the session she was not very happy and didn't want to smile for the camera, but she enjoyed the the last part of it. She was playing with the balloons Julie got for her and loved playing with daddy. I can't wait to see the final product!

She had lots of fun with her balloons!
Thank you so much Julie for your pacience!

Game Night and Maya's B♥day

Sunday night we were able to get together with some friends and celebrate Maya's birthday. We had a lot of fun! I made a butterfly cake for her and she seemed to like it. We sang to her, ate cake and ice cream, played games (Scattergories and Wii) and talked.
Thanks everyone for coming, we are glad you were able to come :D

Maya's Cake(It is not perfect, but I tried)

Merry X-mas

My family was able to come spend Christmas with us and we are so glad they did. Christmas Eve we had tamales and stayed up late(1:00am); we were just having such a great time. We went to bed, then Phillip and I got up at 2:00am to put the turkey in the smoker. We didn't really sleep that much because we had to keep waking up, specially Phillip so he could make sure the turkey was cooking right. Maya woke up close to 8:00, and the kids were already awake, anxious to open their presents. We got the fire going, said prayer, read the Luke chapter 2, then opened presents.
I started cooking the side dishes for our late lunch, early Christmas dinner and then it was time to eat! Phillip did an awesome job, his smoked turkey was delicious! After dinner we watched "Polar Express" and "Rudolph." We had a great time! Gracias por venir a visitarnos :D
