New Member Of The Family - Maya Valeria
It has already been such a blessing to have Maya here with us. We are so grateful for the healthy pregnancy which Erika and Maya had and for the uncomplicated birth. At this point Maya has completely taken over our lives. We are always with her, watching her, feeding her, talking to her, or just giving her hugs and kisses. We have to thank the nurse who was with Erika throughout the delivery. She was wonderful with Erika and really helped her through the process. She helped to make this experience a memorable one. When the pediatrician came to check on Maya she said that Maya has jaundice. She said that it should go away rather quickly with routine feedings and having her lay under our florescent lights in the bedroom with her clothes off. Other than that she is doing great. We want to say thank you to everyone for all of their love and support.

Sorry it's taken so long for us to see beautiful Maya! We just barely got our internet up and running today. She reminds me of Kenya...what a neat thing! Hope all is going well, can't wait to see you soon!
