Gold for México

If you know a Mexican, then you must know soccer is big in México. Soccer is one of the only sports we are good at, and I am allowed to say this because I am Mexican.

México took gold today during their match vs. Brazil!

Viva México!

It's Official

I am officially registered for the Santa Barbara International Marathon. It takes place during my birthday month. Finishing the race will be my early birthday present. My hands got sweaty as Phil click the "submit" button. But I know I can do it, I can do it. I just pray I don't suffer from any injuries during my training.

November 10th

26.2 miles

And a whole lot of training!

Wish me luck :)

Santa Monica

This is how we spent our Monday. After an interview at CSUN for the MRI program Phil will be doing this fall and spring, we went to Santa Monica Pier.  We had a good, relaxing day.

An all about girls day

I love my girls and I love my A-Days girls. They make me happy.
I took pictures of Maya and Addison being rockstars.

Now these girls pretended to be Olympians.

Welcome Ellis

Sweet baby Ellis Waylon Rawlins was born Tuesday super early morning. He is so perfect! My SIL  and Greg sure made a cutie. He is one big baby, he weighed 8lbs 4oz and measured 22.5 inches. Good job Heather, you are a strong woman. Everybody already knew that ;)

This is a picture Heather posted on Facebook.

Now Ellis be good to mama, and let her sleep a little. Don't be like your cousin Addison who made me go zombie. I can't wait to hold you and give you a big kiss! We love you already and we haven't even met yet.

Mizuno Wave Inspire 8

We purchased a V.I.P membership to ROADRUNNER a while back. We have already used it for a few things. Just a week ago or so we got a customer appreciation coupon for 25% off any items. I needed to replace my New Balance 860 badly, those bad boys lasted me a while considering all the miles I have ran with them. So today I ordered the Mizuno Wave Inspire 8, they are a stability shoe just like my old ones. I am so excited to try them. I love that ROADRUNNER allows their member to try them for 90 days! If they don't work we send them back and get something different. I can't wait, they should be here tomorrow!
