Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Morning

Yesterday the girls and I went to story time at the library. We go most Saturdays, but hadn't been for a few because life just got crazy. Anyway, we made it yesterday and I am glad we did because we found out that there would be an Easter egg hunt there later in the day. After story time I took the girls to get lunch and then went to the mall. We were on a mission to find Maya shorts for the spring/summer. We were gone for about three hours total, then we decided it was time to come home. Phillip was able to put in his morning study hours and Addi needed a nap. We rested a little then headed back to the library. The girls had fun hunting for eggs. Maya found 19 eggs and Addi collected 10 with my assistance.

We found this cute ears in the Target dollar spot. They had fun with them, especially after bed time reading. We read a book titled, The Big Bad Bunny. He pretended to be naughty, so the girls proceeded to do the same with their bunny ears and all.
This morning the girls woke up excited to see their baskets. This year Odeyca and Senia (Phillip's co-worker and her partner) sent the girls baskets, it was so nice of them. They love our girls and our girls love them. Every time Phillip goes to their house the girls want to tag along. Anyway, they got baskets from them and us also. This year we kept ours very simple, a few candies, a couple things from the dollar spot and a little toy. Addison got a toy camera, which she loves and Maya got a jump rope.

Here are some picture of this morning:
We got this little flower pinwheels for them to put outside on their flower pots.

Full Term

I am now full term, something to celebrate. Braxton Hicks are increasing and my back is now aching a BIT. I am getting anxious to meet this little one. However,  I am also  getting very nervous about labor. You would think that with the more children I have, I would be less nervous. But giving birth is so unpredictable, I am hoping for the best. I hope this time around is as speedy as it was with little Addi. I also want to record that he is head down and every time he moves he hurts my bottom and it sends a numbing sensation all over my legs. This is something new for me. I didn't experience this with the girls. The Dr. told me his head is on the big side, I am not sure what that means (how BIG?!). All I know is that I have a lot of pelvic pain and I am really not looking forward to pushing out a big head.
Just for the record I have gained 25 lbs. And I think weight gain has really stopped, last time I went in for my appointment I had lost 1 lb. I don't think I will gain much more.

Today I also had my hair done. I like it. It is different from anything I have done to my hair before, except for the haircut. I had the same style of hair when I was pregnant with Maya.

Lincoln's Room

Here is the "final product" of the baby's room. We like it very much. Phillip put in a lot of effort and time. This was his project and I must say he did an extraordinary job. We set a budget and he almost stuck to it. Great job HONEY!
This was the original color of the crib.
Phillip trying to get the bat nice and centered.

Phillip painted the crib black, looks really sweet. Also, he found the wall decal on Etsy and put it on the wall with little assistance from me. Our friend Lisa was so kind to help us with the bedding.

Maya said baby Lincoln could use her Build-a-Bear, since it was an Angels uniform. the pillow was purchased off the clearance rack at Target. There is still another pillow coming, it is almost done.

The dressers were also repainted. I love the shade of red Phillip picked. I found the lamp at Home Goods for a steal. The baseballs were some old balls Phillip had and the jar I found at Home Goods also. He found the curtains online, I love them. A friend from our ward helped us shorten them.
I love the pennants, they add a lot of color to the room. There is one for each of the MLB teams.

Here is a close up of the jar and bobblehead.

I love the way this wall turned out. We wanted to hang up the bat and some vintage black and white pictures. Phillip spent lots of time trying to find these awesome pictures.

The group picture is of Jackie Robinson with some of his Dodgers teammates. The pitcher is Bob Feller.

Babe Ruth, The Sultan of Swat.

I am done with all the organizing, thank goodness.

Park Day With Papi

We don't get to hang out with Phillip very much because of his busy schedule, but today he took some time for us. We went to Target to pick up some things we needed, then we picked up lunch, ate at the park and played. I took some pictures of my hubby playing with the girls.

Addison was fascinated by the squirrels.

Lincoln's Baby Shower

I feel so blessed and loved :)  First, my sister in law, Kristi drove 4 hrs. round trip just to make it to the baby shower. Second, having all the ladies that are dear to me at my shower just put a huge smile on my face. And third, there was lots of chocolate! I feel like I had so much. I can't sleep, my stomach is burning and I have already puked twice. I hate not having room in my stomach :P
Sorry for the ridiculous amount of pictures, but I just felt like sharing them all. Some are from my BFF, Gladys' phone.
