Thank You HONEY

Phillip gifted me these boots. The reason: motherhood. He thought I deserved a little gift for being such a good mom (if I don't say so myself, jk). I had been wanting a pair of real leather riding boots for a long time, but they can be pricey  and  I can never justify paying more than 50 dollars on a regular pair of shoes (running shoes is a different story).
Finding boots and jeans is a challenge for me because of my wide legs, the black Franco Sarto fit perfect! Now I am just waiting for the other pair to arrive. Too bad the weather here is starting to warm up,  they will have to stay in a box until next fall/winter.

Caleb's 4th Birthday

I can't believe this little guy is now 4. We have known him for four years. Him and his family are very special to us. We are glad we were able to be there on his special day.
Maya wasn't feeling too well, but she made the best of it and played with him the whole evening. I hope they stay friends for a long time!

Making Play dough

Yesterday the girls and I made play dough. Our hands are still stained from the food coloring. Maya had so much fun and enjoyed mixing the food coloring all by herself. After we were all done she came to me and gave me a big hug and said, "thank you for making play dough with me mom." It made me smile.
Addison loved mixing her play dough.
Maya kept her colors separated, she didn't want to ruin them.
It was such a simple and fun project to do together.

This morning Maya woke up with the biggest grin. This is why: "Mom I had a dream. And it was great! Guess who I was? I was Wonder Woman. I was wearing her cool suit and flying all over the place. Oh, mommy it was great!"

Maya's 4th Soccer Practice

Saturday's practice was all about learning team work. The kids were each assigned a partner for the whole time. They practice dribbling the ball and passing the ball to each other. Maya and her partner got along really well. Maya was as cheerful as always.
It took them a little while to get used to kicking the ball, while holding on to the vest.

Here they had to score as many goals as they could. Once a ball made it to the goal, they had to run and get another one until the balls were all gone.

The kids receiving instructions.

After practice the kids played for a while.

Even I went down the slide, and it hurt.

V-day

Better late than never.

Our v-day wasn't as cheerful as I would have liked it to be, for reasons I can't explain on here. But I still wanted to make my hubby and the girls feel special, loved and appreciated. We had pink pancakes and chocolate milk which the girls never get to have because we don't like sugary drinks. The girls receive a little gift, Phillip got some See's peanut brittle and the cutest card (if I don't say so myself).

In the first two pictures Phillip and the girls are following some yarn that I had strung up all over the house leading them to their surprise.

Later in the evening we took the girls to the dollar theater to watch Wreck It Ralph. Then we came home and when the girls went to bed Phillip and I had In-N-Out and watched Skyfall.
Also for Achievement Days we made these:

31 weeks

I am 31 weeks! I am doing well, just my blood pressure has been low and it has cause me to have headaches and dizziness. My sugar is low also so I have to eat more frequently. The baby is doing well. He is strong and healthy. I am just tired and ready for this pregnancy to be over! I just want to hold my baby already. However,  I must wait 9 more weeks :)

Can't wait to meet this little man!

Sueños

This song got me through really hard times in the past. And here I am listening to it over and over again.

Doing our nails

Maya's toe nails.
The girls wanted to do their nails the other day and this is what I did.

Addi's toe nail.
