Teacher Luncheon

As a Primary presidency we organized a luncheon for the teachers and all those who work with us to show them how much we appreciate them. It turned out great, we were just missing a few teacher. I wanted the decorations to have a springy feel, this is what I came up with:

 These teachers are so amazing. They are so loving and kind to the children. I am so fortunate to be able to work with them.

Little Fashionistas

 Today for A-Day we talked about modesty and had a little fashion show. We had so much fun. If you know me then you must know how much I enjoy this subject. They put outfits together and then modeled them. It was so cute because a lot of the girls put outfits together that they have seen me wear before. This just reminded me how important it is to be a good example to them because they are always watching and they mimic a lot of the things we do.

A few hours with Kristiina Marie Schetselaar ;)

 

Phillip's sister, Kristi stopped by Monday night on her way back home to Utah. We had fun talking and staying up late (even though the next morning I didn't feel like waking up at 4:15). I am glad she stopped by. We talked about weddings, pictures, boyfriends, husbands, exercise, food and all kinds of things. So until we meet again...in 7 weeks, right? And really soon you will be a Californian and come back here to stay :)

Change of Plans

So my brother-in-law was supposed to fly to Los Angeles today, but since he wasn't able to make it we went for a "hike." It wasn't really a hike because there was snow up on the mountains and all the trail heads were closed. But a monumental thing happened while up there, I got to touch the snow for the first time (lame, I know). I was so happy that my day could have been over after that moment. Here are a few pictures we took:

My little girl, Maya is growing. Here is the proof of it. :(

Life Lately

Addison doesn't like Lito's and Lita's present. She is scared of it. But some day she will enjoy it, I know it :)

Since the poor little horsey is sitting in the corner lonely, Maya takes him for a ride once in a while. Poor little horse, it can barely move.

Phillip and his Valentine's Day gift from me. Leave it to Beaver is his favorite TV show.

We also did this a lot today.  We pushed Addison around in this little box, she loved it.

I was in work out clothes most of the day. Why is it so hard to get in the shower?

Maya and Caleb spent the morning together. They did good sharing and playing together.
