Things Maya Likes To Do

She loves playing outside, but today she had to play by herself inside because I had to study for an exam. I must add that I didn't do good, I have been having a hard time with my philosophy class. I really hope it starts to make sense. Here are some pictures I took today.

Bakersfield Track Club Half Marathon

We did it!

Rayanna, Holly and I (Rayanna is in our ward and Holly used to be in our ward but then she moved)


Phillip finished 11th place in his age group and his time was 1:56:34.



I finished 1st place in my age group and my time was 2:09:43

Church Talks, Grandparents, Chocolate and More

This has been a very busy but also very enjoyable week. We have had Lito and Lita in our home for a few days and we have totally enjoyed it. To celebrate Valentine's Day, we went to Frugatti's here in Bakersfield. Their food was excellent and their bread was so delicious (horrible for my diet :D)
We also had to prepare talks for today. I had the opportunity to speak about LOVE and Phillip talked about MARRIAGE. We were both very nervous, but I think we did good. I was able to feel the spirit and that is all that matters.
We also went to the park for a little while and we had fun!

Nice Company, Ceviche and Some Fun

Last Saturday we were able to have dinner with our friends Fernando, Gladys and their baby. We were so glad to see them because we hardly get together due to the different schedules and school. Fernando had the Saturday off, so they were so kind to invite us and provide a delicious dinner! Gladys prepared ceviche and I brought some brownies and ice cream, the ceviche was a 10+. Maya and Kaleb had a lot of fun together! Thank you Gladys and Fernando for having us over. We are looking forward to the barbacoa :D

Requesting Ideas

I am very happy with what I have been able to accomplish but, I still need to lose a little more.I have lost about 60lbs and I still want to lose 10 more pounds and I have been stuck at this weight for the past couple of months. I don't know what to do! Any ideas?

Not Just a Bike Ride, an iBert Bike Ride

We were finally able to go for a bike ride as a family. We had not gone for a bike ride together ever since Maya was born. So, we ordered an iBert bike seat for Maya and finally the weather was nice enough to go exploring. Maya had so much fun! She kept talking and looking around :) We loved it!

So she hates to get her nails clipped, but she is okay with me painting her nails :D
