New Hair

 Phillip said he couldn't really tell how short my hair is from the one picture I posted a few days ago. Here are some more photos. I didn't really do much to it. I just put some paste and that is it.It is super low maintenance. I love long hair as well, but I wanted some change.

I did it! I got a haircut and I am loving it.

Maya's Surgery

Today we got up bright and early for Maya's surgery. She had to be at Millennium Surgery Center by six to check in, but surgery didn't start until seven or so. Things went smoothly. I am so proud of our girl. She was all smiles and very kind to everybody there. The procedure didn't take very long, we went back in the recovery room right before eight. She was still sleepy when we went in. The first thing she said was, "I am thirsty." The kind nurse got some juice and water for her to drink and then she laid back down. She was ready to go in less than 30 minutes. I am so grateful things went well. The Dr. said he was able to remove the cyst and all the little roots or branches. Hopefully it doesn't come back, it can happen but I am hoping it won't.

Our kids in primary will be singing this song for our program. I can't wait. Everytime I hear it touches my spirit.

4th of July

 Our Holiday was a very relaxed one. We had KT, Loe and Natán over. We had the the most delicious vegan meal ever, thanks KT. The girls got wet, we cooked and grilled. We did kiddy fireworks because Maya is terrified of loud ones. 
We had a good celebration, with scared kids and all.

 

 

BTC Summer Series #3

It was HOT!!! 

But I loved it.

But I hated it.

 This is not making any sense. I hated it while I was doing it, but then loved it when I was done. Running in 100 degrees weather is disgusting.

 The picture below is the only picture I got with Loe, my super awesome niece. I had so much fun with her. Took her out shopping, did hair and make-up.  I was sad to say good-bye today. I hope to see her soon. Next time we are going to the beach.
