in a couple of weeks we will be spending a whole week in Malibu.

Sometimes I miss my belly, but only sometimes.

Fun Weekend with Tia Kristi (Warning: Picture Overload)

Tia Kristi (Phillip's sister) got here Thursday, right after the girls woke up from their naps. We got ready and headed to a free concert at The Market Place.

We sat there and listened to the music, while Maya danced. We also went swimming while aunt Kristi was here. We did a lot of talking! Stayed up late, even though I knew I would be tired in the morning.

On Sunday, we had the Elders from our church over for dinner and Kristi's friend, Justin also joined us. We had a great evening and the food was delicious and healthy. Time went by fast :(
Good thing we will be visiting them in Utah in just a few weeks.

Look Who Got Pictures Today

Addison is 4 months old and we were in real need of pictures. Julie Mulkay is no longer working, which broke our heart because she is awesome. She loves photography and it shows. Well, we had to try a new place. I contacted a couple of professional photographers, but their prices were just insane. 145+ for one session, plus we had to purchase our own prints. We decide to take her to Picture People, the prices were cheap and I think they did a good job. But, I will definitively be happy when Julie is back in business.

They don't offer an online gallery, so I took pictures of the three different poses we picked. They are blurry, but the real pictures are good.

HERE WE ARE TRYING TO KEEP OURSELVES COOL. THE FIRST HEAT WAVE HAS ARRIVE TO BAKERSFIELD AND I DON'T LIKE IT.
I TOOK THE GIRL FOR A WALK AT 10 AM AND WE COULD NOT EVEN STAND IT.

Love is blind. As I was getting Maya ready for bed she told me, "Mom you are beautiful princess." It made me smile. I love my little girl! She is a great communicator. Her vocabulary is growing by the minute. She is also doing great with the whole potty training. She hasn't had an accident all day!

One Amazing Father and Hubby

When I look at you, I see a man who's totally in love with his family. It shows in all the big and little things you do everyday... as a husband, as a father. When I look at you, I see a man I love and appreciate, a man I am so very happy to be sharing this life with.

Something good to remember when I am running in this nasty heat.

Potty Training, Pool and Playing.

Maya is doing great! She is such a big girl and is learning fast to use the potty. I just can't leave her alone one second.

Our little Addison can roll over and has a strong little neck.

Our pool is getting a lot of usage because our AC wasn't working.

We love you, Summer just the way you are right now. Don't get any hotter, pretty please!
