We did it!!! This was my 3rd and Phil's 5th half marathon. We had a blast. It rained on us the whole time, but that didn't stop us. I was a little nervous to run on a trail because we had never done trail running before, but I must admit that I loved it. It is much more relaxing. The trail was muddy and some parts were slippery, but we finished. We received a finisher's medal and a high quality running shirt. I also found out I placed third in my age group, so I hope I can claim my medal.
