Christmas on the 23rd

Phillip, the kids and I had a Christmas celebration on Monday. Phillip had to work both Christmas Even and Christmas Day. I wanted to make it as special as I could for the Phillip. We were originally going to celebrate it on Friday the 27th. But we decided last minute to just do the 23rd. It was a very busy day. I put in the ham in the oven, but forgot to turn it on. :( 2 hrs passed and the ham was as cold as it could be. I broke down in tears because everything else was ready, but the main course. Sweet Phillip said it was okay. We ended up having dinner closer to 8. The kids loved their presents. Addi at first wanted Maya's doll and cried for a while, but then she got over it. I think I am safe to say that Phil loved his presents. Phillip never disappoints. I loved both my shoes and necklace. Lincoln loves his little people and a bunch of clothes he was in need of. My favorite activity to do is sing carols. I love singing because for me it is the easiest way to invite the spirit.

I'm glad you had a nice Christmas! The ham thing sounds like something I would do :) Good thing we both have wonderful and understanding husbands.
