My family was here to celebrate Christmas with us.
We got started with all the baking on Friday.
Maura helped me a lot. We decided that Mom needed a break :)
By the end of the day I was so tired. This year we did something a little different. We had FHE and then we did a little reenactment of the birth of Jesus.
After FHE, we opened presents.
We took pictures with our new coats :) Thanks mom!
After the PiƱata we had dinner! Maya shared her dinner :)
Heidi asked me if we wanted to go see the Holiday Lights at CALM, and so I said, "of course". So last night we visited CALM (California Living Museum). Every year they have thousands and thousands of lights all set up. I am so glad we got to go because Maya loved it! She never stopped running and was amazed by all the different figures.
Phillip couldn't come with us because he is working, but I think we will all go again on Saturday.
Maya and Lili
Maya loves Santa
My favorite was Winter Wonderland.
We rode the carousel (a couple of times) and the little train.
We had our Stake Christmas Music Festival yesterday. Last year Phillip joined the Choir and was able to participate. This year both of us were involved. Phillip was the Choir Director and I sang with the group. It was a nice experience for the both of us. Phillip did a great job conducting, and I did the best I could singing (my belly didn't allow me to breath very well). We sang "As Shepherds Kept Their Lonely Vigil" by Sally DeFord, a beautiful piece. Our friend Gladys was so nice to come and support us. We love spending time with her and her family. Caleb did great with Maya, they both had so much energy. Phillip watched them for a while so Gladys and I could enjoy the performances. He said, that they were being super silly. When Caleb or Maya would fall or do something goofy they would bust up laughing.
We are all ready for Christmas...well almost. Phillip needs to put up the the lights outside. I did it last year, but this year I think I will let him do it.
I am done with one more semester! I had my last presentation today. I received straight A's and I am so grateful for that. I could have not done it without my hubby :) I love you Phillip and THANK YOU FOR MY ROSES AND BALLOONS! Here is a picture of my Communications group. This is what Phil surprised me with when I got home from school. Maya also got a balloon :)
We play for a little bit before bed. Then we brush our teeth. We read a book. Finally, we say prayer. Then Maya says, "I don't want to go night, night." I had a visit with my OB today and everything is going great. Baby Addison has a strong heart beat and her head is in the right position (at the moment). All my blood work came back normal :) I can't believe is already time to see the doctor every other week! This means baby Addison is so to be here.
