Meet Asphalt Junkies
Garmin Connect
I fell really bad last Thursday and had to take the weekend and part of the week off to heal. My ankle was so swollen, that it was a little humorous. But I really missed putting in my long run. I feel okay this week, I can still feel a little discomfort, but I can run.
Today is a good day. I missed you, asphalt!!!
Tomorrow a 6+ miler and Friday will do 12. I am excited and getting nervous for my race. I can't believe this thing is around the corner!
Have a good day. I sure will!

Tio Alan is the best- Part 2
Sunday we woke up late. By late I mean 8:30. I fixed waffles, hash browns and eggs for breakfast. We all took turns getting cleaned up and ready. We left the house to go The Village at around 11:30.
We walked and walked through down town. Phillip found a fallen tree and naturally walked on it. We went to lunch to a place Alan recommended, it was delicious! We went in a few shops, bought some candy and admired all the beautiful vintage things they had displayed.

My sister climbing a little hill. It was a slippery one. |
Kissing in public and catching a picture- a rare occurrence. |
I cute little rooster we saw. |

The Village |
Maya and Addison were fighting for a while. Aren't they too little for that? |
Keeping Addison's hair looking nice is impossible. |
Phillip was in Heaven. |
And so was Addison, pure heaven. |
A sunny day for cute sandals and flats. |
Finally at the beach. But we only lasted a bit because a little decided to jump in the water and get completely soaking wet. |
This was before Maya got wet. |
Tio Alan and Kelly walked us to car and said good bye. Until next time. We loved spending time with them! |
Family is the BEST!
Here are the girls with their gifts from Tio Alan.
Tio Alan is the best- Part 1
After the luncheon we headed out the door. We went to visit Alan, Phillip's brother who lives in Oceano.
We had been wanting to visit Alan, but always had something going on during the weekends. This time we just decided to do it after the teacher luncheon. We left at around 2 pm and we got there at 4:30. When we got to his place, he had little stuffed animals for the girls....so sweet. We talked for a while on his back patio, it was so warm and sunny. After talking for a couple of hours on his back patio, we went to Pismo beach to grab a bite to eat.
Phillip tried oysters for the second time, and still they were not his favorite. I tried them for the first time and thought they were okay.
This was Maura's gigantic burger. She ate most of it :O |
I had coconut shrimp and chips. It was not my favorite, it was so oily I couldn't stand it. But the fries were good! |
Addison was introduced to french fries. She loved them! |
Tio Alan bought the girls these fun toys that shoot up in the air. We couldn't figure them out so they went in my purse. |
Addison walked around the plaza. |
Here is Phillip trying to figure out the toys. |
Tio Alan offered to carry my purse...he looks good, don't you think? |
