So my brother-in-law was supposed to fly to Los Angeles today, but since he wasn't able to make it we went for a "hike." It wasn't really a hike because there was snow up on the mountains and all the trail heads were closed. But a monumental thing happened while up there, I got to touch the snow for the first time (lame, I know). I was so happy that my day could have been over after that moment. Here are a few pictures we took:

Moe felt SO BAD--I think I dare even say the word MAD-- about the company displacing him from the trip he had planned out to LA. Instead they put him on another trip in cold weather country and with crappy show-times! This isn't the first time they've done that to him, and many times recently; sometimes life's just not fair. He was talking about going to see you guys non-stop and then was in a really bad mood when he found out that he couldn't go :( Sometimes there are some not-so-fun quirks that come with being a pilot. I'm glad that you were still able to have a good time and see snow for the first time, exciting!
