When I was younger, during my High School years I had no desire to have a family. I envisioned myself as a single lady and a career woman. I never knew of Heavenly Father's plan for me. It hurts to think that for 17 years I was lost. However, I was able to turn my story around. Instead of a desk, pencil skirts and heels (nothing wrong with that, I still wear them on Sunday), I sit with my daughter and teach her the alphabet and her numbers. I balance the check book, fix meals, make sure laundry is done, take my children for walks and watch them grow. I give them love and they give me love in return. These are all reasons why I will forever be grateful for missionary work. Missionaries provided me with the tools necessary to change my future and my story. And what a beautiful future this is, 2 beautiful girls, an amazing partner and a growing baby. Nothing like I had pictured it when I was younger, but very beautiful indeed.

Soon I will be a mother of three. I could have never in my wildest dreams imagined that I would be mothering three children. The thought scares me. It gives me some anxiety to think that three children will be under my care. There are days where I question the things I am doing. Am I being a good mother? Am I really savoring each moment with my children? Will they remember me later in life as a fun, loving mother? Do they know of my love for my Savior? Am I a good example to them? At the age of 25 I will be a mother of three. I am a young mother. But even with all my fears, I know my Father in Heaven is walking me step by step. I know I am not alone.

Sisterly Love
The girls love playing tea party, wearing tutus and everything pink. They were playing so nicely until I showed up with the camera, then they started fighting and taking things away from each other. However, I was still able to get a few decent ones. Here they are:
Maya and Addison Have a Birthday Party
This was the first time my family was able to come to celebrate the girls' birthday. We had a lot of fun, like always. The house was trashed and there were balloons everywhere (signs of a fun day). We had lots of Mexican food and plenty of sweets. The cake turned out really yummy and at the end there was zero cake left, thank goodness. The girls had so much fun and their little eyes showed excitement each time they opened a present.
Thank you family for being a part of my girls' special day.
We had a late celebration and the girls were tired but it was all worth it.

Maya's 1st Soccer Practice
Yesterday Maya had her first soccer practice. It was the cutest thing ever. They practiced dribbling the ball fast and slow, trying to score a goal and some basic soccer rules like, "NO HANDS IN SOCCER." She did really good and the whole time both Phillip and I kept smiling. I love being a parent :)
Caleb is doing Toddler Soccer and Maya is doing Pre-soccer so they couldn't be in the same class.

He has a name
Our son has a name.
We could change our minds, but we are very sure he will be named after this man:
Lincoln will be his first name.
His middle name will be a family name.
Ready Martha?
Augustus
I can feel it, he feels like a Lincoln to me. Now, I can call him by name whenever he is kicking me too hard. I can't wait to meet him and touch his little face.

Olivia
My girls love Olivia. They ask me to read Olivia books every night.
When we went to Party City Maya was convinced she wanted a Tinker Bell piñata, but as soon as she saw Olivia she forgot about Tinker Bell. I was so happy they both liked Olivia better because everything was 50% off. After Party City we had to go back to Michael's and return the Tinker Bell stuff I had already gotten. Addison doesn't really care what theme we go with. I think as long as she gets cake and her present she will be a happy girl.
For the first time my family will be here to celebrate their birthday. It will be very simple. Also, my two uncles and their families are driving from Los Angeles to come and spend the day with us. I can't wait for Saturday! I love having family over, even if it means lots of work ;)
I started baking the cake, which will be red velvet to go with our Olivia theme (Olivia's favorite color is red). My sister is making a flan, my favorite :) I am thinking of making these:
The piñata is all ready to go. Mexicans always have to have a piñata :)
I am so tired, but just picturing their smiles keeps me going. If I have time I might attempt making 2 of these for the girls.
