Our 5 Year Anniversary

Can you believe Phillip and I have been married for 5 years?! Time never slows down. I am so grateful for all we have been through together. I am not going to lie by saying that we are the perfect couple and that our life together has been 100% happy. Like all other couples we have our ups and downs, but I love how we are always able to forgive one another and move on. We have grown so much and have developed a strong relationship. In all honesty, I can say Phillip is my very best friend. He doesn't try to change me, he loves me just the way I am. And I love him just the way he is too. To me he is and always will be the man of my dreams. I love to look at him while he sleeps, is the greatest feeling ever. He looks so peaceful. There is something about me that enjoys watching people sleep, specially the ones I love. I don't know why, but I do.
For our anniversary we did something local. We wanted to go to the coast and spend some time at the beach, but have been super busy with callings and work. So we decided to do something low key. We headed out the door at around 3:30 pm on Saturday. Our first stop was Sport Chalet. We were trying to find some maps for local places where we can go hiking. But they didn't have what we were looking for.
Our 2nd stop was Sweet Surrender. The best bakery in town. My birthday cake came from this little place and it was just divine.
Red velvet cake is my favorite, but their carrot cake is to die for too.
They have the cutest little boutique, with the cutest stuff.
3rd stop was The Camelot Park. We played outdoor miniature golf.

4th stop was Tokyo Garden for some sushi. I love this place, it is definitely one of my top three restaurants  in town.

5th and final stop was the mall. Eunhee, my friend called me to let me know that Banana Republic was having a great sale. Phillip was so nice to come with me on this mission impossible . Finding a good pair of jeans and look and feel good is impossible for me. I HATE shopping for jeans and ended up in a bad mood. So we headed home empty handed. Then we forgot about the mall experience and enjoyed the rest of the evening. To finish our date we watched X-man: First Class. So romantic, I know :)
